  This program is intended for medical oncologists, hematologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other allied healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of breast cancer.
  
  LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Implement a long-term clinical plan for the management of localized hormone receptor (HR)-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer, accounting for newly presented clinical research findings and incorporating existing and recently approved therapies.
  • Use published research data to guide the selection of therapy for patients with newly diagnosed HR-positive metastatic breast cancer.
  • Evaluate recently published clinical research findings to determine their effect on the current care of patients with metastatic HR-positive breast cancer experiencing disease progression on a CDK4/6 inhibitor and endocrine therapy combination.
  • Assess the mechanisms of action of, available data with and ongoing clinical trials evaluating novel agents and treatment strategies under development for localized and metastatic HR-positive breast cancer.

  AMERICAN BOARD OF INTERNAL MEDICINE (ABIM) — MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION (MOC)
  Successful completion of these CME activities, which includes participation in the evaluation components and a short post-test, enables the participant to earn up to 1.75 (audio) and 1.25 (video) Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for each activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
