  This activity is intended for medical oncologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers.
  
  LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Develop a long-term care plan for individuals diagnosed with metastatic colorectal cancer, considering available and emerging research data and clinical and patient disease characteristics.
  • Use published and recently presented data, HER2 status, PD-L1 combined positive score and other clinical and biologic factors to optimize the selection and sequence of systemic therapy for patients with advanced gastric, gastroesophageal junction and esophageal cancer.
  • Consider the evidence-based therapeutic options in addition to patient age, PS (performance status), degree of liver function and other clinical factors in the selection of first- and later-line therapy for unresectable or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma.
  • Recall clinical trial data with approved and investigational systemic interventions for advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma, and establish an evidence-based approach to therapeutic selection for patients.
  • Appraise available and emerging data with investigational agents currently in clinical testing for gastrointestinal cancers, and appropriately refer eligible patients for clinical trial participation.
