  This activity is intended for medical oncologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of multiple myeloma.
  
  LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Appraise the current role of the anti-CD38 monoclonal antibodies isatuximab and daratumumab in the treatment of relapsed/refractory (R/R) multiple myeloma (MM), and discern how these agents should be integrated into patient care.
  • Evaluate the mechanism of action, FDA approval and efficacy of selinexor for previously treated MM, and identify patients for whom treatment with this novel compound is appropriate.
  • Consider the FDA approval of belantamab mafodotin for patients with R/R MM, and determine how this agent may be incorporated into current treatment algorithms.
  • Recognize treatment-related adverse events and other common side effects associated with agents newly approved for patients with R/R MM, and offer supportive strategies to minimize and manage these toxicities.
