    This activity is intended for medical oncologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of lung cancer.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES

    • Understand the biology of EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations to appreciate why patients with these alterations do not respond to commercially available EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs).
    • Assess the biologic rationale for, available data with and potential applicability of the dual-targeting EGFR-MET bispecific antibody amivantamab for metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring an EGFR exon 20 insertion mutation.
    • Evaluate the mechanism of action and published research data with the novel EGFR TKI mobocertinib for patients with NSCLC and EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations, and consider how this therapy may fit into future clinical management algorithms.
    • Recall the design and eligibility criteria for ongoing clinical trials evaluating novel therapeutic approaches for NSCLC with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations, and enroll or refer appropriate patients for study participation.
