  This activity is intended for medical oncologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of multiple myeloma.
  
  LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Appraise the scientific rationale for targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) in the care of patients with multiple myeloma (MM), and assess the mechanistic similarities and differences between various bispecific antibody platforms directed at BCMA.
  • Evaluate available research findings with BCMA-directed bispecific antibodies for MM, and recognize patients for whom treatment with these agents should be considered and/or recommended.
  • Develop an understanding of the scientific justification for and available clinical research data with CD3 x GPRC5D bispecific antibodies for MM, and use this knowledge to effectively incorporate this novel treatment approach into current management algorithms.
  • Recognize adverse events and other practical considerations associated with available and investigational BCMA- and non-BCMA-directed bispecific antibodies for MM, and implement strategies to educate patients, comply with FDA mandates and manage complications.
  • Recall ongoing studies evaluating other promising bispecific antibody-based strategies under investigation for MM, and counsel eligible patients regarding potential clinical trial participation.
