• TARGET AUDIENCE
  This activity is intended for medical oncologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of amyloid light chain amyloidosis.
  
  LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Develop a greater understanding of the incidence, biology and pathophysiology of amyloid light chain (AL) amyloidosis and assess available data guiding the selection of first-line therapy to optimize clinical and quality of life outcomes.
  • Evaluate available Phase III data with subcutaneous daratumumab in combination with CyBorD for newly diagnosed AL amyloidosis and consider the current role of this strategy in clinical practice.
  • Assess the evidence-based therapeutic options for relapsed/refractory AL amyloidosis, and develop algorithms to optimally sequence available agents and regimens.
  • Recall promising agents and strategies under investigation for AL amyloidosis and counsel appropriately selected patients regarding clinical trial enrollment.
