The following slide set details findings from a two-year educational initiative designed to define continuing education needs among practicing medical oncologists by documenting their practice patterns with regard to the management of follicular lymphoma. Thirty-eight US community-based medical oncologists provided anonymous information on presenting symptoms, diagnostic workup, treatment selection, side effects and clinical antitumor response for consecutive patients newly diagnosed with follicular lymphoma in their practices.

The results of this study were presented as a poster at the 2010 American Hematologic Society annual meeting as well as documented in a supplement to the December issue of Oncology.
