This activity is intended for hematologists, medical oncologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndromes.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES

    • Consider the evidence-based therapeutic options for patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and develop clinical algorithms intended to enhance quality and quantity of life.
    • Develop a plan to manage the side effects associated with commercially available therapies for AML and MDS in order to support quality of life and continuation of treatment.
