    This activity is intended for medical oncologists, hematologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of amyloidosis.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES

    • Understand the biology and pathophysiology of amyloid light chain (AL) amyloidosis, and assess available research data guiding the selection of first-line therapy to optimize clinical and quality-of-life outcomes for patients with this disease.
    • Evaluate available Phase III data supporting the recent FDA approval of subcutaneous daratumumab in combination with CyBorD for patients with newly diagnosed AL amyloidosis, and consider the current role of this strategy in clinical practice.
    • Assess the evidence-based therapeutic options for patients with relapsed/refractory AL amyloidosis, and develop clinical algorithms to optimally sequence available agents and regimens.
    • Recall promising agents and strategies under investigation for AL amyloidosis, and counsel appropriately selected patients regarding clinical trial enrollment.
