  This program is intended for medical oncologists, hematologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other allied healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of lung cancer.
  
  LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Recognize the frequency with which patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) experience disease progression on first-line immune checkpoint inhibitor-based therapy, and optimally select and sequence available therapeutic options to maximize quality and length of life.
  • Recall the mechanisms of action of and available data with novel investigational agents and strategies for patients with progressive metastatic NSCLC, and assess the role of these approaches in clinical practice.
  • Determine the potential utility of TROP2 as a biomarker of response to investigational antibody-drug conjugates in patients with progressive metastatic disease.
  • Recall the biologic rationale for and efficacy and safety data with immune checkpoint inhibitors in combination with VEGFR-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitors for progressive metastatic NSCLC.
  • Recognize the side effects and toxicities associated with available agents and novel therapies under investigation for relapsed metastatic NSCLC, and implement strategies to manage and mitigate them.
  • Recall ongoing trials evaluating novel therapeutic approaches for progressive metastatic NSCLC, and counsel appropriate patients regarding enrollment.
