• TARGET AUDIENCE
  This program is intended for medical oncologists, hematologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other allied healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of multiple myeloma.
  
  LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Customize the selection of first-line therapy for newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (MM), considering new clinical research findings and patient- and disease-related factors such as cytogenetic profile and fitness for stem cell transplantation.
  • Identify patients with MM for whom front-line monoclonal antibody therapy directed at CD38 should be integrated into therapy.
  • Consider approaches for selecting, sequencing and combining established and recently approved novel agents in the care of patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) MM.
  • Develop an understanding of the benefits of bisphosphonates and RANK ligand inhibitors for patients with MM with and without identifiable bone disease.
  • Identify the current clinical utility of minimal residual disease assays in the management of MM and the remaining challenges for continued development of this tool for guiding treatment decision-making.
