In April, RTP convened a Working Group of multiple myeloma (MM) clinical investigators, practicing hematologists/oncologists and oncology nurse practitioners (click here to see full faculty) to better elucidate current practice patterns in the management of this disease. The event featured a mix of didactic lectures, moderated, case-based discussions and extensive, real-time polling of the group intended to capture the preferred treatment strategies for a number of clinical scenarios.
The eight topic modules below — introduced sequentially via weekly emails over the next two months — provide access to the recorded discussions and conclusions that emerged from the event and are presented in the following formats:
- Treatment Preference Matrix — Graphical summary of the investigators' preferred
management approaches for four distinct clinical scenarios, including text-based
commentary from select investigators. - Dr Love's Email — Full-text version of the summary email promoting each topic module.
- Video Clip from MM Working Group — Short video segment featuring moderated panel discussion related to the topic module.
- Video Presentations — Mini-lecture with slides by invited clinical investigators related to the topics discussed.
